Anubha Shrivastava is a Managing Director at CDC Group plc, a fund of funds business owned by the British Government that invests in the developing economies of Africa, Asia and Latin America.  She is responsible for the Asian investment portfolio spanning across South and South-East Asia and China.   Anubha Shrivastava commenced her private equity career in 1999 with General Motors Asset Management’s Private Equity Group in New York, USA. She was involved in the global private equity fund-of-funds portfolio as well as the global co-investment program. Thereafter she worked at Performance Equity Management, LLC, where she was responsible for managing the European fund-of-funds and co-investment portfolios.

Anubha Shrivastava started her career in Arthur Andersen and went on to work with Hambrecht & Quist, USA prior to joining General Motors Asset Management.

Gautam Mehra, leads the PwC Financial Services Tax and Regulatory team and is Sector leader, Asset Management and Real Estate. He has a varied experience of over 23 years. Prior to joining PwC in September 2003, he had stints with two leading accounting and tax consultancy firms, which was followed by a long association with an independent practice founded by him.  In the past few years, he has been focussed on providing tax and regulatory advisory services to players in the financial services space with a particular emphasis on the asset management sector, and also in providing strategic tax inputs to large multinational as well as domestic Indian players.  Gautam is a regular speaker at seminars, both in India and overseas and a contributor to the media. He has been a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Core Committee member of the American Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai. Jayanta Banerjee is one of the founding partners of Pravi Capital, a lower mid-market focused private equity firm.

Jayanta  has around 20 years of industry experience with the last 8 years in private equity business in India. He has in-depth experience of full cycle investing and fund raising in private equity and in investment banking. He has also been an entrepreneur and has worked in the industrials sector. Prior to starting Pravi Capital, Jayanta was President – Private Equity at ICICI Venture.  In that capacity, he was responsible for investments in pharma and healthcare and was also in-charge of fund raising of India Advantage Fund (IAF) Series 3. Prior to that, as Head of Private Equity - India at Lehman Brothers, Jayanta led a team covering all sectors. In his earlier stint at ICICI Venture, Jayanta led investments in Auto Components, Logistics and Textiles and led the fund raising process of IAF Series 2. Jayanta also worked on and managed multiple investments from ICICI Venture’s India Advantage Funds apart from managing and exiting several private equity investments of the legacy funds of ICICI Venture. Jayanta was member of the Board of Directors of various portfolio companies including Arch Pharma, Bharat Biotech, Malladi, Radiant Research and Transafe.

Manish is a Vice President at the Reliance ADA private equity team. He is currently serving on the board of several investee companies at Reliance ADA private equity some of which include Sarla Holdings Private Limited, runs Pathways world school, Su-kam, leading inverter and battery manufacturer, DTDC, leading courier company and EMI Transmission Limited, leading power accessory manufacturer. Prior to joining Reliance ADA private equity, he worked with Temasek Holdings and Vertex Management Pte Limited (Venture Capital arm of Temasek Holdings) for over three years. At Vertex he was primarily responsible for investments in India and for the business development of Vertex Israel portfolio companies in South East Asia. Some of the key deals Manish led while at Vertex are investments into Everonn Systems India Limited, India's second largest technology aided knowledge services company and M&B Footwear, a leading shoe manufacturer and retailer. While at Temasek Manish was part of the team that invested into Citic Resources, the fourth largest oil and gas company in China and also the Asia Pacific Exploration Consolidated, a startup exploration company focusing on South East Asian Oil and Gas assets.

Rajesh Dalal is a senior consultant to the Healthcare Industry in Asia. He is a Venture Partner on the Asia team of OrbiMed Advisors (Private Equity) besides being advisor to leading multinationals. Rajesh has worked for more than 30 years with Johnson and Johnson (J&J) in Asia including the past five years as the head of M&A for J&J Medical in the Asia Pacific Region. In this role, he worked closely with scores of medical device companies in China, India and other parts of Asia. Rajesh was previously the Managing Director of J&J Medical, India for six years with overall responsibility for the medical device businesses at Cordis, DePuy, Endo, Lifescan, Ethicon and Hospital Supplies.
